About Aim High
The Aim High Parish Ministry Programme was developed to encourage young people to take an active part in their Church, parish and community. It helps young people to understand that religion is not just for learning, nor is it a list of rules, but that it is for living, for living life to the full. More importantly, it is a journey of faith.
Upon completion, participants will have learned skills to:
- Learn & Grow Spiritually.
- Participate in Parish Liturgies.
- Minister in their Parish Communities.
- Develop practices for self-awareness and self- development.
- Recipients of the programme will be able to enhance their CVs by:
- Proving their ability to commit to a project, and
- Displaying their personal responsibility to develop, improve and grow.
Who is the Aim High Programme for?
Aim High is open to all young people 16 years and over. The Award is flexible, non-competitive and requires an ongoing commitment. The program is coordinated through the Parish, in conjunction with parish organisations, secondary schools and youth clubs
