 Thomastown Parish commemorate the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Parish Church with the following talks.

  • ‘The Church building in Thomastown’ with Fr. Fergus Farrell, on Thursday 7th September.
  • ‘Fr. Drea’s Drawings: the graphic diary of an Irish priest, 1912-1914’, with David Bracken, on Tuesday 12th September.
  • ‘Thomastown Protestants, ‘No petty people’, with Joe Doyle, and ‘The John White Pipe Organ in Thomastown’, with Frank Lawrence, on Wednesday 20th September.
  • ‘A Church alive is the life of the Church’ with Fr. Dermot Ryan, on Monday 25th September.
  • ‘Faith without justice is dead’, with Fr. Peter McVerry SJ., on Thursday 5th October.

The talks will be held at Thomastown Community Hall, in Marshes Street, at 7.30 each evening.
