Mary’s Meals – Walk to Knock

Mary’s Meals, named in honour of Our Lady, feeds 2,429,182 children in 18 countries every day at their schools, using local produce. It costs just €22 to feed a child for a year, and administrative costs are kept to a minimum at 7 cent in the Euro.

Starting on Monday 7th August, Irish volunteers will begin to walk to Knock, from a number of starting points around the country, and they are all due to arrive in Knock on 15th August, the Feast of the Assumption.

Two volunteers will begin from Kilkenny via Castlecomer from the heart of our Diocese.
