Ordination of Bishop Niall Coll, Bishop of Ossory

On Sunday 22nd January the people, priests and religious of Ossory gathered for the Ordination of Bishop Niall Coll as the 96th Bishop of Ossory. Bishop Niall made the move from his home in Donegal to his new home the south east of Ireland here in Ossory  

The Ordination ceremony was led by Archbishop Dermot Farrell and he was assisted by Bishop Denis Nulty formally Apostolic Administrator of Ossory and Bishop Alan McGuckian of Raphoe, Bishop Niall’s home Diocese. 

The people, priests and religious of Ossory were joined for this celebration by many of Bishop Niall’s friends and his family.
