Diocese of Ossory Review of Child Safeguarding Practice undertaken by the NBSCCCI
Over the past months here in the Diocese of Ossory we have undergone an independent review of our safeguarding practices in the Parishes and Diocese. This independent review was undertaken at our request so as to ensure that we are doing over very best with regard to safeguarding practices in the Diocese. The review, in its entirety, is now being made available for all in the Diocese to read.
We thank those many volunteers involved during this review, those on the Safeguarding Committee in the Diocese and our Director of Safeguarding for the manner in which they welcomed this review as a tool not only to evaluate but also to support the great commitment to safeguarding that exists in Ossory – work that ensures all are safe in our parishes and church communities.
